Secretary-Treasurer John Murphy congratulated Cambridge Housing Authority Member Donna Gallant on her retirement after more than 35 years at the CHA.

Gallant, who started as a secretary, rose through the ranks to retire as the senior purchasing agent at the Cambridge Housing Authority. 

“Donna is the epitome of a dedicated public employee who could have earned a higher salary in the private sector,” Murphy said. “However, she was committed to the mission of public housing and providing a safe and clean place to live for low-income families and senior citizens. She was a true trade unionist and credit to the Teamsters Local 122 for more than 35 years.”
